It is a founding principle of Pilates Junction to look at every client individually, and to tailor a program that will consider the client “as a whole”, helping you reach your body’s full potential.

Each person has a unique medical history and a unique posture. Each person has a different set of goals and requirements. All of these will form the foundation of the personalized Pilates exercise program. Sex, age and approach to exercise will be among other factors that affect the individual’s program and progress.

As a new client you will attend an Introduction Course that consists of three private classes. A one-to-one environment gives us the opportunity to learn about your relevant medical history, any current aches and pains as well as your goals and expectations. It also gives us a chance to assess your posture and muscular imbalances, teach you the basics of Pilates and get you familiar with the equipment.

After completing the Introduction Course you will be invited to join the Semi-Private classes (up to four people per teacher) or the Duet classes (2 people per class), where you will continue to progress at your own pace and level. Your program will be structured using a unique system that ensures it is comprehensive and complete, and that you benefit fully from the time invested.
All assessment observations and findings and all exercises prescribed will be continuously recorded and will be used to measure the progress of your Pilates practice and improve it as we go.

Utilizing a system of individualised programs allows for great efficiency and flexibility- you can attend class at any time, and benefit from each of our teachers’ unique teaching styles. The focus will always be YOU and how we can help you the most.

Clients at Pilates Junction are encouraged to take two classes a week in order to create the continuity, which makes Pilates truly efficient and satisfying.
